The rescheduled and much awaited CNN report on the Roots in the City Farmers Market aired last night on Anderson Cooper 360. Did you miss it? (I did.) You can watch it online here, on the AC360 blog. Catch a glimpse of our fruit expert Melissa Contreras explaining tamarind to CNN correspondent John Zarella and Chef Michel Nischan.

Good job. I have to pass by and check out Roots City Farmers Market on day.

What a fabulous story!!! Very well presented and upbeat. I am so pleased you were able to post the video as I missed it too! I hope this inspires other cities to do the same. In all honesty, this market is the most convenient for me to get to each week too and the people are friendly who run it and also who attend! Great job to everyone involved, including Marian for posting this! x
(Melissa’s on TV!!!!)
I just re-posted on Facebook fan page for La Diva Cucina with link and credit to you and your blog Marian!

I have tasted the fresh veggies from Roots in the City. Check it OUT. Wonderful fresh and affordable. Thank you for providing this to our Miami residents.
Thanks! Appreciate this…
