Stopped by Bee Heaven Farm on Friday afternoon to help out for a little bit. Victor and Ish were loading the farm’s box truck with heirloom plant seedlings to take to GrowFest! at Fruit and Spice Park nearby. They had made one run and were loading the truck for a second run.

But plenty more seedlings remained. About 2,000 had been planted, most heirloom tomatoes.

Victor carefully navigated the full truck to the park, where Bee Heaven’s tents were set up. We started unloading. Too many seedlings, not enough tables.
